Welcome to our latest Fresh Sheet, featuring a selection of new arrivals over the last few weeks. The categories for this one include: Art & Photography; Books about Books; Illustrated Books; Pacific Northwest and a miscellaneous selection from other areas.

  

Two highlights worth noting in this one are collaborative efforts, each of them true 'rarities'. This first is James Stevens & H.L. Davis' 'black tulip' titled 'Status Rerum', an infamous screed against the literature of the Pacific Northwest. An incredibly ephemeral work, it was published in 1927 in an edition of two hundred copies, but is rarely seen for sale. The second book is the deluxe edition, one of only eight copies, of the latest exploration into 'color', by Barbara Hodgson and Claudia Cohen; without any doubt one of the most creative, compelling and beautiful artist's books in recent memory.
