Quarter cloth and printed paper over thin boards. 23pp. Title-page and final page detached, and pg. 23 has been pasted onto the inside front cover; pg. 3-22 are soundly stitched, and laid-in. Over all showing considerable edgewear, and the top corner of the rear board chipped away, else a Good+ copy. // A wonderful nineteenth-century piece, with the multi-layered color plates which make up the skeleton in nice condition, exhibiting just a few minor creases. The text, completely devoted to an explanation of the five 'plates' which constitute the different layers, is divided into sections on the skeleton, muscular system, nervous system, vascular system, viscera, and lymphatic system, with a 'table of references'.
